Case study

We paired one of the world’s most exciting brands with the most agile and adaptable tech.

Brain Dead operates cinemas, events and their own stores all over the US and Asia, and collaborates across all categories with brands like Disney, Coach, A.P.C. and Brooks Brothers. Together we brought every platform into a single source of truth, and used it to automate tasks and processes that limited people’s availability to work on the big things.

The problems we solved

(THE PROBLEM)

(WHAT WE BUILT)

  1. [01]

So many channels, retail doors, and platforms required a lot of work to reconcile.

One dashboard with every store, wholesale and Brain Dead Studios side by side, on the same definitions.

  2. [02]

It was complex to bring together all the inventory into a single source of truth across all 3PLs, retail doors and consignments.

Inventory from Cin7, both 3PLs and every store in one pool, location by location, so any unit can meet an online order.

  3. [03]

Collections growing every season meant more purchase orders and payments to follow.

The Production and PO manager: every PO from the factory to the 3PL door, with what is paid, what is due and when.

  4. [04]

An ambitious business plan called for every dollar of spend to be measured against it.

The financial overview reads the business plan and QuickBooks, so cash out is checked against the plan month by month.

  5. [05]

The cinema and its events run on their own platforms, DICE and Filmbot.

Box office from DICE and Filmbot next to retail, in the same dashboard and the same reports.

  6. [06]

The team’s time was better spent on the big things than on building reports.

Automated reports, from the daily sales flash to month end against the plan, sent before the team starts work.

Our work here had a huge impact. We were able to make better decisions and drive the brand forward. Working with Rafa was a pleasure.

Every number now comes from one place, and we trust it. Telemyr brought the right mix of technology, best practices and operational rigor, and it changed how we run the business. We could not recommend Telemyr more.
